Why sitting down changes the shower
Standing through a shower asks a lot: a wet floor, a small space, and nothing steady to hold. Sitting removes most of that at once.
The frame is rated to a static load of 330 lb (150 kg). That is the manufacturer's static pressure figure, not a dynamic or certified user-weight rating — worth knowing if you are choosing close to that number.
Height and setup
The legs adjust through 10 height settings, with the overall height moving between 32 and 36 inches. Ten steps instead of three means you can match the seat to the person, rather than close enough.
It assembles without tools and comes apart the same way, so it can be set up by whoever is there on the day, and taken down again for a move, a deep clean, or a trip.
Built for a wet room
The foot mats use an anti-skid and anti-rust design — the two things that fail first on a chair that lives in a shower.
The leg tubing is 1.35 mm thick, which is the wall thickness of the tube rather than a coating. The chair arrives in grey.
