Can I install it myself?

Yes, with a drill and a stud finder — anchoring into studs (or masonry with proper anchors) is the critical step.

Indoor or outdoor?

Both — the finish handles entry steps and porches as well as interior staircases.

What height should it mount at?

Standard rail height is 34–38 inches above the tread nose — match your existing rail for consistency.

Good to know
