Fitting it to your bed

It fits double, queen and king beds with mattresses 7–13 in (178–330 mm) deep, and is held in place with the fixing strap.

It is not for electric beds. If yours is an electric bed, this rail is not the one.

Flat against the mattress

The rail is flat and elongated, so it spreads pressure across the mattress rather than pressing into one spot. That keeps the sleeping surface smooth and free of uncomfortable bumps.

Spreading the load this way also avoids localised pressure deforming the mattress, which protects its longevity.
