Setting the height

Stand upright with your arms relaxed at your sides. The grips should meet the crease of your wrist — that puts about a 15 degree bend in the elbow when you are holding them.

Adjust all four legs evenly. Set too tall, the frame shrugs the shoulders; set too short, it bends the back. It is worth taking a minute over this on day one.

Folding and carrying it

The frame folds flat in seconds, which is the point of it — a walker is only useful when it is actually with you.

Folded, it stows behind a door, in a closet or in a car trunk, and the aluminium keeps the lift manageable.
