What tools do I need?
A drill, stud finder, screwdriver, and scissors. The rail anchors into studs; tape applies to clean, dry treads.
Indoor stairs only?
The rail works on entry steps and porches too; keep the tape to indoor or covered steps.
Where does the light go?
Top or bottom of the stairs — wherever the darkness starts.
Good to know
Do the top and bottom treads first with the tape — they cause the most missteps. By Sunday the staircase looks the same but behaves differently: gripping every step, offering a rail to every hand, lighting itself.

Shipping is free on every US order, with no minimum. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, then standard delivery is 5–10 business days, with tracking throughout.
Return anything within 30 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo within 7 days and we replace it free — no return shipping, no restocking fee.
